Design Engineer covering both design and front-end, end-to-end, with 16 years of experience — including a background in product management and design leadership from 2016 to 2021, hands-on as a design engineer again since 2022. I specialize in complex B2B SaaS — simplifying dense products, shipping interfaces that are functional and polished, and driving growth through the sites and landing pages I build. I own the work from first sketch to production code, removing the back-and-forth between designer and developer.

FAQ
Are you only open to freelance contracts?
No, I'm open to any contract type: freelance, salaried (CDI), fixed-term, whatever works best for you. The structure matters less to me than the project and the team. For foreign companies, I already run my own company in France and can invoice you directly, so there's no admin hurdle on that side either.
Are you open to long-term engagements?
Yes, long-term is what I prefer. I'm happy to commit to multi-month engagements so I can really get into the product, the codebase, and the team rather than just shipping one-off tasks.
What's the minimum engagement?
One month firm after the trial. It's pretty standard for US clients and gives both sides enough time to ramp up and ship something meaningful before deciding to continue. After that first month, the engagement rolls month-to-month with a 2-week notice on either side.
How soon can you start?
Usually about 1 month from signing. I always honor a clean handover with current clients. If something is more urgent, I can sometimes start with a few hours per week to unblock things while ramping up.
Can we do a trial before committing?
Absolutely. I usually suggest a 2 or 3 day paid trial (billed at my standard daily rate) on a small, well-defined piece of work. It's the fastest way to see if we click on communication, code quality, and design taste before signing up for something longer.
Can you invoice international clients?
Yes. I run my own company in France and invoice clients worldwide in EUR or USD. For EU clients I handle VAT through reverse-charge; for non-EU clients (US, UK, etc.) invoices are issued without VAT. Payment by wire transfer, Wise, or Stripe, whatever's easiest for you.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes, happy to sign whatever NDA you have in place. If you don't have one, I can provide a standard mutual NDA.
Who owns the work you produce?
You do. Everything I produce is yours upon payment: design files, code, assets, all of it. No strings attached.
What if it doesn't work out?
After the first month (which is firm), either side can end the engagement with a 2-week notice. I'll invoice for work done up to the end date and hand over everything in good shape: files, repo access, documentation.
Do you do design or code?
Both. I'm a Design Engineer: I own the work end-to-end, which removes the back-and-forth between designer and developer.
Are you using Figma?
I've spent years in Figma and still know it well, but I use it less and less these days, mostly for preparing assets. My current workflow: I sketch on paper with a pen, then jump straight into code. It's faster, I iterate in the real medium, and the result is the same: production-ready interfaces that look and feel polished.
What's your stack?
My favorite stack: Next.js, React, TypeScript, Tailwind, and Framer Motion on the front-end; Figma for assets when needed; Slack and Linear for day-to-day collaboration. I'm comfortable plugging into whatever your team already uses though.
